AI SALES ASSISTANTS

A roofing sales rep might start the morning with a pile of new inquiries, overnight voicemails and estimate follow-ups from last week. Deciding who to call first usually comes down to gut feel or whoever sits at the top of the list. An AI sales assistant reads every new lead, scores it against your criteria, summarizes past conversations and suggests the next step, so reps spend the morning with the homeowners closest to signing instead of sorting through the queue.

  • Lead screening, prioritization and qualification
  • Follow-up recommendations and sales-assist workflows
  • Call summaries and CRM updates
  • Rep-facing assistance with sales information and next steps

Screening applies the rules your best salespeople already follow. For a plumbing company, a repiping inquiry from a homeowner in an older house with recurring leaks ranks above a general question about faucet brands. For roofing, storm damage with an open insurance claim moves up the queue. The assistant flags missing details, spots duplicates across phone, form and chat, and marks leads outside your service area so nobody wastes a call.

Follow-up recommendations turn activity history into a suggested action. An electrician's panel upgrade quote that was opened twice but not accepted might prompt a call script addressing permit timing and inspection steps. A homeowner who went quiet after a site visit might get a suggested text from the rep instead of another phone call. Reps see the recommendation, edit it if needed and send it themselves, keeping control of every customer conversation.

After each sales call, the assistant drafts a summary covering the problem, options discussed, objections, decision-makers and agreed next steps, then writes it to the CRM record and updates the stage. Reps review and correct it before anything is saved. During the day, they can ask quick questions, such as which warranty applies to a given shingle line or what the last conversation covered, and get answers drawn from approved records.

OUTCOMES

Hands typing a text message on a smartphone

Your salespeople and CSRs spend less time on admin and more time talking to customers who are ready to buy.

Admin work quietly eats into selling time. When reps type notes from memory at the end of the day, details get lost, and the next person to call the customer starts from scratch. Automatic summaries and CRM updates keep records complete without asking more of your team, which matters most when several people, from CSR to estimator to office manager, touch the same lead.

Prioritization matters because a sales team's time and attention run out. If your best estimator spends an hour chasing low-intent inquiries while a homeowner with an active roof leak waits, the cost never appears in a report, but it is real. Ranking leads by likelihood to book and job value points your team's limited hours at the work most likely to close.

FAQ

Adoption depends on whether it saves them time from the first week. That is why we start with call summaries and CRM updates, which remove work immediately, and involve reps in setting the scoring rules. We train the team and review usage with your sales manager.

It works with many common CRMs and field-service platforms that offer integrations or APIs. We confirm what your system supports during scoping, including whether summaries and stage updates can be written back automatically. If your CRM is too limited, we explain the options plainly.

Not unless you want it to. By default, the sales assistant supports your reps: it ranks leads, drafts summaries and suggests messages, and a person decides what gets sent. Customer-facing conversations are usually handled by AI voice or chat agents, configured separately.

Recording rules vary by state, and some require every party's consent. We configure disclosures and recording settings to match the states where you operate, and recommend confirming your obligations with your attorney. Calls that can't be recorded can still be summarized from rep notes.
